    Survivor Made provides paid employment to women as they progress through the Refuge for Women program. This opportunity allows them to earn an income in a safe, supportive environment as they focus on healing. Through structured workdays and meaningful tasks, they experience the dignity of a steady job—often for the first time in a long time.

    By engaging in creative, hands-on work, women in Survivor Made begin to rebuild their sense of self-worth. They take pride in what they produce and gain confidence as they see the value of their contribution. This empowerment helps shift their identity from victim to capable, strong, and resilient individuals.

    Through their time at Survivor Made, women gain tangible skills that prepare them for future employment. From learning to meet deadlines and manage inventory to practicing customer service and teamwork, they leave the program equipped with experience that strengthens their resumes and prepares them for sustainable independence.
